The double eccentric design of GYR71700 reduces the wear of the valve seat and ensures bidirectional airtight closing function throughout the entire pressure range. Taking the seat as a starting point the eccentric valve disc creates a cam-like action that pulls the disc away from the seat without excessive pressure. The entire cam-like action of the valve plate in the starting position reduces the wear of the valve seat and minimizes the deformation of the seat.
When the valve is open since the valve plate does not contact the seat the life of the seat is extended and the operating torque is small. When the valve is closed the whole cam-like action converts the rotary motion for a straight stroke motion of the valve which effectively pushes the valve plate to touch the valve seat.
Built-in a compensatory spring can effectively compensate for the wear of the sealing seat making the sealing seat elastic during the switching process and greatly reducing the friction and improving the sensitivity so that the whole valve has an excellent cut-off and regulation performance.
